We started the new year with our Unit AGM on Tuesday, February 21, a carry-over from the 2011 agenda. The membership was well represented with attendees from the Vancouver area, New Westminster, Surrey, Langley and Abbotsford. Below is a brief on the activities:

Members arriving at 10:30 AM, spent the first part of the gathering in social meet and greet activity, followed by an hour of discussion on activities for 2012, and then more social mingling that included a luncheon. Everyone felt comfortable with the organization of the agenda which encouraged participation with especial focus on the social activity.

Members expressed satisfaction with the Executive committee which was re-elected by acclamation.

Janice Wasik and Audrey Newton volunteered to assist the Executive by co-ordinating a telephone committee to communicate with members on upcoming activities.
