Members Keep'n'N Touch
 
Members of RTO Unit 42/1, together with their guests, attended the annual Christmas luncheon  at  Mr. A's Patio Restaurant, Newlands Golf Club, Langley, on Saturday, December 3, 2011.  Our Unit was well represented as members arrived from all regions of the Lower Mainland - Gibson's, Vancouver, New West, Surrey, Langley, Abbotsford, Chilliwack - and "A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL."   

The buffet offered an impressive presentation -  choice of salads & dressings, soup, veggies, fruit, main course ( Teriyaki turkey & stuffing, curried beef, salmon, baked potatoes, rice, pasta ), and dessert choices.   This was a treat for all dietary tastes.  Not only were we impressed by the buffet, but as much by the modest cost of $12.95 per person.

The responses below to the survey about the venue and meal aptly describe the occasion: "Great spot,"   "lovely;"   "Excellent meal,"   "super meal,"  "superb."  thoroughly enjoyable;"   "the meal was fabulous - especially the dessert table." and "The meal at Newlands was excellent, and the joy and pleasure prevailing among those who attended was evident."
